For areas where plumbed potable water is not available, Encon’s 15 minute supply self-contained and portable eyewash stations meet ANSI Z358.1 requirements for eyewash. Encon offers several choices for self-contained eyewash stations including pressurized, gravity fed, and sealed-cartridge portables.
Self-contained cartridge-fed eyewash solutions are ideal for facilities and work areas where plumbed potable water is not readily available. Encon’s Aquarion® Self-Contained Eyewash offers a sleek, slim design and an innovative mounting method for use on walls, tight hallways, columns, shelves, or carts. Its enclosed tray design and cartridge-fed operation make it a practical choice for facilities that need dependable emergency eyewash capability in a compact footprint.
The Aquarion® is designed to deliver a non-injurious dual stream of water at 0.4 gpm (1.5 lpm) for 15 minutes or longer. The unit stores two 3.7-gallon saline solution cartridges, which are sold separately, and the enclosed tray helps protect the eyewash heads from airborne contaminants when the unit is in the ready position.
Highly visible yellow housing designed to hold up to two 3.7-gallon saline solution cartridges. The eyewash incorporates front graphics to indicate activation method, maintenance, and operational information.
Yellow ABS cover helps protect the fluid bags and internal cavity of the station. Side windows allow visual inspection of the fluid bags without removing the cover.
Polycarbonate back plate supports the eyewash station with filled cartridges and allows flexible mounting to a variety of structural supports.
The enclosed tray helps protect the eyewash heads from airborne contaminants when the unit is in the ready position. A single pull-down motion activates the tray and allows full user access to the dual streams of flushing fluid. Spent fluid is directed to a discharge port, where an optional drain tray can be provided. ABS plastic dual-stream heads install directly into the tray and deliver a non-injurious dual stream of water at 0.4 gpm (1.5 lpm).
Black ABS base slides onto the back plate and provides structure to the station while holding the nozzle tray in an upright, ready-to-use position.
This self-contained cartridge-fed eyewash is third-party certified to ANSI Z358.1 and is designed to deliver a non-injurious dual stream of water at 0.4 gpm (1.5 lpm) for 15 minutes or longer.
The Aquarion® stores two saline solution cartridges, which are sold separately. The cartridge-fed design helps keep flushing fluid clean and ready for use while allowing easy handling and installation by one person.

This self-contained cartridge-fed eyewash is well suited for remote facilities, temporary work zones, warehouses, maintenance areas, corridors, columns, shelves, carts, and other locations where emergency eyewash capability is needed but plumbed potable water is not available. Its slim profile helps make better use of available installation space.
