Encon's Aquarion® Self-Contained Eyewash offers a sleek, slim design and an innovative mounting method for use on any wall, tight hallway, column, shelf or cart. Installation to these or almost any other structural support is fast and simple, requiring only one person.
The Aquarion® offers the first sealed flexible cartridge that completely self-evacuates without external forces applied, providing reliable performance when you need it most. It's the ultimate choice in eyewash stations when plumbed, potable water is not available.
Self-contained heated cartridge-fed eyewash solutions are ideal for facilities and work areas where plumbed potable water is not readily available and freeze protection is important. Encon’s Aquarion® Heated Self-Contained Cartridge Fed Eyewash builds on the AQ100 platform with an internal 120v heater and an external insulated jacket to help retain heat while maintaining the same compact, slim-profile cartridge-fed design.
The AQ100H130 is designed to deliver a non-injurious dual stream of water at 0.4 gpm (1.5 lpm) for 15 minutes or longer. The unit stores two 3.7-gallon saline solution cartridges, which are sold separately, and uses an enclosed tray design to help protect the eyewash heads from airborne contaminants when the unit is in the ready position.
Yellow polyethylene housing designed to hold up to two 3.7-gallon saline solution cartridges. The highly visible yellow ABS eyewash incorporates front graphics to indicate activation method, maintenance, and operational information.
Internal 120v heater with heat shield designed to help retain heat within the eyewash unit for cold-weather or freeze-protection applications.
Removable high-visibility yellow insulated cover with snap closure. The jacket helps retain heat and adds thermal protection to the cartridge-fed eyewash assembly.
11 ft (3.35 m) 16/3 Type SOWA/SOOW cord supplied with the unit.
The enclosed tray helps protect the eyewash heads from airborne contaminants when the unit is in the ready position. A single pull-down motion activates the tray and allows full user access to the dual streams of flushing fluid. Spent fluid is directed to a discharge port, where an optional drain tray can be provided. ABS plastic dual-stream heads install directly into the tray and deliver a non-injurious dual stream of water at 0.4 gpm (1.5 lpm).
This heated self-contained cartridge-fed eyewash is third-party certified to ANSI Z358.1 and is designed to deliver a non-injurious dual stream of water at 0.4 gpm (1.5 lpm) for 15 minutes or longer.
The AQ100H130 stores two saline solution cartridges, which are sold separately. The cartridge-fed design helps keep flushing fluid clean and ready for use while allowing easy handling and installation by one person.
AQ120S – Two 3.7-gallon sterile saline cartridges
AQ110 – Two 3.7-gallon sterile saline cartridges (available only in Canada)
AQ111 – Cartridge kit with two 3.7-gallon refillable cartridges, Hydrosep® inside each bag, funnel, and expiration labels
The AQ111 refillable cartridge kit includes Hydrosep® water preservative inside each bag. Hydrosep® treats water for up to 120 days.
This heated self-contained cartridge-fed eyewash is well suited for remote facilities, temporary work zones, warehouses, maintenance areas, outdoor service locations, and other environments where emergency eyewash capability is needed but plumbed potable water is not available. The insulated jacket and internal heater make it a practical choice where added thermal protection is required.
The eyewash is activated by a single pull-down motion on the tray. When activated, the tray moves to an open position to allow immediate user access to the flushing streams while helping direct spent fluid to the discharge port.
