Product Description

Cascaide® Wall Mounted Emergency Shower – CC1000

In areas where whole-body flushing is required for chemical splash or contaminant exposure response, a dedicated emergency shower must activate quickly and maintain a controlled spray pattern across typical facility water pressures. The Cascaide® CC1000 is a wall mounted emergency shower specified for permanent, plumbed installation and third party certified to ANSI Z358.1.

Highlights

  • Wall mounted emergency shower for full-body drenching response
  • Third party certified to ANSI Z358.1
  • Regulated shower output: 30 gpm (113.56 lpm) @ 30/70 psi (206.84/482.63 kPa)
  • Self-adjusting regulator supports a consistent flow and pattern under varying hydraulic conditions
  • High visibility yellow UV-resistant ABS showerhead
  • Schedule 40 hot dip galvanized steel piping with stay-open activation valve

Built for industrial and commercial exposure areas

Wall mounted emergency showers are commonly specified where the installation requires a fixed wall projection and the unit must be positioned directly at the hazard area. The CC1000 is configured as a permanent emergency fixture designed to support predictable activation and documented performance for EHS and facility teams.

Common installation locations include:

  • Chemical handling, dispensing, and transfer areas
  • Process rooms and utility corridors
  • Maintenance shops and washdown zones
  • Battery service and charging areas
  • Manufacturing cells where splash exposure is identified by the hazard assessment

ANSI Z358.1 certified emergency shower performance

Third party certified to ANSI Z358.1, the CC1000 is specified to deliver a non-injurious stream of water for 15 minutes or longer when properly installed and supplied. The showerhead includes a self-adjusting regulator designed to help maintain a constant flow and pattern at 30/70 psi (206.84/482.63 kPa) flowing pressure.

Controlled spray pattern with regulated 30 gpm discharge

The ABS showerhead must deliver a minimum 20” (50.80 cm) diameter pattern to the target area 60” (152.40 cm) above standing level. Shower units that provide improper flow pattern are not acceptable.
