Product Description

Combination emergency shower and eyewash stations with Yello-Bowl® and hand/foot operation are designed for commercial and industrial hazard areas where plumbed emergency flushing equipment is required. Encon’s Model 01050290P20 is a free-standing combination shower and eyewash station with a high-visibility ABS Yello-Bowl®, dual-operated hand or foot treadle activation for the eyewash, and ANSI-certified performance.

This combination shower and eyewash is third-party certified to ANSI Z358.1 and is designed to deliver 20 gpm (75.7 lpm) from the shower and 3.2 gpm (12.1 lpm) from the eyewash at 30/70 psi. The unit is designed to provide a non-injurious stream of water for 15 minutes or longer.

Piping

Schedule 80 hot dip galvanized steel piping for free-standing installation.

Valves & Activation

Chrome-plated bronze single-motion activation stay-open ball valves with chrome-plated balls. Valve sizes are 1″ for the shower and 1/2″ for the eyewash. The unit includes dual-operated hand or foot treadle actuators for the eyewash, a stainless steel push plate with actuation graphic, and a stainless steel pull rod assembly with actuation graphic for the shower.

Shower Head

Yellow UV-resistant ABS plastic shower head with self-adjusting 20 gpm (75.7 lpm) regulation. The shower delivers a minimum 20″ (50.8 cm) diameter pattern to the target area 60″ (152.4 cm) above standing level.

Eyewash

ABS plastic dual-stream heads with ABS plastic float-off covers secured with stainless steel bead chains. The eyewash is mounted in a high-visibility ABS Yello-Bowl® and uses a self-adjusting 3.2 gpm (12.1 lpm) regulator to assure a constant and even dual-stream flow pattern under 30/70 psi hydraulic conditions. Float-off covers are provided to inhibit dust and contamination when the unit is not in use.
