Encon’s Gravity-Fed Drain Tray Assembly Kit is an accessory for the 01104050 Self-Contained Gravity Fed Eyewash, designed to help collect and direct discharged fluid during activation, testing, or maintenance. The tray attaches to the gravity-fed eyewash pivot pins and helps route spent water to a suitable container for improved fluid management around the unit.

This accessory is a practical addition for facilities that want better control of discharged eyewash fluid and a cleaner surrounding area during use or service.

Product Description

The Gravity-Fed Drain Tray Assembly Kit attaches to the pivot pins of the gravity-fed eyewash station. The ABS plastic tray is designed to collect spent water and direct it to a suitable container.

Construction

The kit includes an ABS plastic drain tray along with the required mounting hardware and tubing components for installation.

Drain Flow Options

The drain hose can be assembled for either horizontal flow or vertical flow, allowing the installation to be adapted to the application and drainage needs of the area.

Horizontal Drain Flow

For horizontal drain flow, the hose can be cut to the desired length and connected with the supplied barb elbow fitting to direct discharged fluid to an appropriate drain area or receptacle.

Vertical Drain Flow

For vertical drain flow, the hose attaches directly to the drain pan stem and can be directed downward to grade.

Installation Note

The drain hose should not rise above the stem of the drain pan, which can help prevent overflow of the pan during use.
