Self-contained 5 gallon pressurized portable eyewash, socket mount solutions are ideal for facilities and work areas where plumbed potable water is not readily available and a compact self-contained eyewash is needed. Encon’s Model 01103001 combines a 304 stainless steel 5-gallon tank with a socket-mount dual-stream eyewash assembly, push-plate activation, and portable pressurized operation.

This 5 gallon pressurized portable eyewash uses a dual-stream eyewash head and wye assembly with pop-off covers, push plate, and associated piping and fittings. The socket-mount configuration makes it a practical choice for remote work areas, temporary job sites, maintenance locations, and other environments where a portable self-contained eyewash is needed.

Tank

Type 304 stainless steel 5-gallon tank with pressure gauge, air inlet/bleed adapter, water connection adapter, and fill-line decal.

Piping & Valve

Assembly includes chrome-plated brass nipples, tees, elbows, and fittings with a stay-open ball valve and stainless steel push plate for activation.

Eyewash Assembly

The socket-mount eyewash assembly includes dual-stream eyewash heads, a wye subassembly, pop-off covers, bead-chain retainers, and associated ABS mounting components.

Flow-Control Components

The eyewash assembly includes two 0.25 gpm portable eyewash flow-control components, one for each eyewash outlet in the dual-stream configuration.

Socket Mount Configuration

The socket-mount design provides a fixed eyewash assembly configuration paired with the portable 5-gallon pressurized tank.

Relief Valve & Gauge

A relief valve is included to help protect against over-pressurization, and an air pressure gauge helps indicate tank pressure status.

Water Treatment Additive

One 8 oz bottle of Hydrosep® is shipped with each unit for water treatment and maintenance of stored potable water. For replacement or routine maintenance, see Hydrosep® 8 oz bottles (pack of 4).

Activation & Use

The unit uses a push-plate-activated valve and self-contained tank design for portable eyewash applications in areas where plumbed potable water is not available.
